Multiplayer support

Greetings everyone,

I have been a long time visitor and reader of this forum.
However today I decided to register and start my first post.
I received the game about 4 months ago as a gift and I have been reading lots of guides about it. However, I had to stop because I was quite busy with my studies. Now I am back to learn again

.

I just want to ask about the multiplayer part of SH 3 since I have never tried it yet. Me and my friend plan to play it coop. What are the modes supported in coop and are there any mods that improve the multiplayer experience.
