As long as the Dec 23rd fix was enabled while you where in base then just carry on.

Default Another quick question

I installed some mods on the stock version of SH3 and now the reload times for the deck gun is a lot higher.....and i mean A LOT......does anyone know which mod is responsible for this? I had 2 mods that were called DeckGunReloadTime(1.4) and another one similar but i deleted them and it still acts as before.

If you use SH3Commander, you can set your DG reload times to whatever you want. I normally run at around 8 secs for the 88 and 10secs for the 105.

More info on Deck Guns http://www.uboataces.com/weapon-deck-gun.shtml

They used to fire rounds about 4 sec appart. Not bad actually for such a bad aiming platform

4 seconds per round is about right unless you want to make an allowance for the motion of the boat

After installing some mods the default value for the deck gun reload time was changed to someting much higher so i had to replace that file according to some instructions in the mod. But now i think i have another annoying problem. I'm still in Naval Academy doing the tutorials over and over again to make sure i get everything straight but now i can;t seem to sink more than 3 ships in the Deck Gun Exam. Before, i could easily dispatch 5 of them but now i run out of ammo halfway to the third ship. Where can i change this or which mod is responsible for this?

Just go into your Naval Academy folder in the SH3 folder of ''My Documents'. Edit the values to 1000 for each of the five and set all to 'TRUE', if I remember correctly, then you can bypass the tests all together.

"Bypass" = cheat the exams?
But i want to pass them, not avoid them. The only obstacle in my way would be that i run out of ammo quickly, which didn;t happen before i installed some mods. And i don;t know which mods are to blame for this so i was hoping some of you might Or should i name the mods that i have installed so maybe it will be easier to identify?
