Default Please, need help with SHIII error message

Does anyone know if the error messages in SHIII are logged some where? And where are they logged? Please, I really need to know because maybe my graphic card is not the reason behind the strange freezes I've had, but maybe the model of the HuntIII DE

Why do you say the huntIII ?
Have you tried making a single mission with the Hunt and you and sinking it ?

Not sure SH3 does log messages
Never looked though

Because, I have tried some single missions, made by myself to test tactics and so on, submerged attack on convoys, the same always happens, after the attack when I sneak away, the game freezes, most of the times when I hoist the scope to have a quick look. I tried another setup with a surface attack, here no problems in spite of the fact that it took longer. At first I thought that it was my computer, but then I came to think of 2 things, one was that I managed to get a quick glimt of an error message, usually it freezes without any messages, but as far as I could manage to see it mentioned something about number of turrets. The second thing was that the difference between the 2 missions I set up was not only that I was submerged in one of them and surfaced on the other, but that in all of the missions where my computer has frozen, the huntIII has been used as escort. Those 2 things together, the error message saying something with number of turrets, and the huntIII made me think that maybe there's an error in the model

So you see, I have to know, I have downloaded the latest drivers for my card, and a lot of people recommend this card, I have plenty of ram on both pc and graphic card and a recommended processor, so I don't understand what's going on!

Not seen a message with that sort of content
Usually the message can give you an indication of the problem

Is it the standard " silenthunterIII has caused an error " message ?
They usually have something written in them that will indicate the problem

Just a quick q
Do you have the Dec 23rd patch installed ?

Yes, but it has only appeared once, usually there's not even a message, just a freeze and the sound of what ever I was doing running on forever, no computer control what so ever, have to reboot on the button.

No, for the moment I have uninstalled GWX, as much as I loved it even more things happened with that one installed, I think due to the fact that my computer is too small for GWX. But, to compare and try to find out what's wrong I reinstalled NYGM which seems to run smoother, but! Now this fatal error occurs...I'm going nuts spend most of the time hunting errors instead of playing the damn thing

@bigboywooly:

Yeah, I completely uninstalled SHIII and reinstalled again afterwards in order to install NYGM.

Yeah, I use SH3Cmdr. but even before I installed that I still encountered this problem
