Loaded up the GWX supermod, patched it, enabled some of the optional mods, and played the game. Unfortunately, Shoot doesn't seem to be working properly. It doesn't recognize commands, and when it does, it takes quite a long time to execute. And then, it'll just stop working all together. It worked perfectly fine before GWX, but now, I'm worried there's some sort of interference. When I exit out of SH3, Shoot is working normally.
Has anyone else experienced this? Last edited by jbt308; 01-08-07 at 04:43 PM. |

What on the planet is "SHOOT?"
Be advised, I'm not too concerned about GWX compatability other mods. If we were concerned about that... we'd be fixing things forever. |

Shoot 1.6.4 is a freeware voice recognition interface used to convert voice commands to key or macro output
With this mod/profile: http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files/p...rofile_2_4.zip you can giving orders using voice (I think that works like Sub Command voice recognition option). I've not tested that software but interested in too. Sorry for my poor english.

Yes, Shoot is not a mod, but a freeware TSR that runs concurrently with SH3. Basically it uses the .Net framework and the Microsoft voice recognition software to interpret voice commands and translate them to keystrokes.
I'm not saying that GWX did anything, just that I noted that since I installed GWX, Shoot has been working erratically. As nothing has changed with Shoot, and the only thing that's changed has been the installation of GWX, I thought others might be experiencing the same thing I've been. Thanks for the work |

Are you sure you merged your 'old' Commands_en.cfg correctly with the new one from GWX?
Remember that I had the same problem a while ago when I installed Rub, at the end I gave up and had to use SetKey to change almost every command one by one. If I manage to create a profile & cfg file that works 100% in GWX I'll post it, but don't count on that ![]() |
