Ahoy Shipmates , im presently in the middle of the Atlantic and fancy a trip to Halifax in Canada, has anyone else been there?

It's shallow, full of DD's and I've only seen regular merchants there...

If you really have your heart set on going to Halifax then I suggest you pack your thermal underclothing as it gets Brr ! there.
Don't let the rest of the Crew see you in them or you'll be chased all round the ship ! :rotfl:

I have been there many times. Great pubs..... the lower deck and the split crow have taken many of my hard earned dollars

'In game' context...it's quite a lively area for convoys. During the war it was a major formation point for convoys to the UK

Default Halifax is a bit tricky.

It's shallow, and I've found lots of air patrols trying to get to Halifax, but I've done very well going up into the St. Lawrence early in the war, just keep some water under your keel. Argentia Bay was a major convoy staging base from 1941.
