Weather bug?

Hi guys, does anyone have a solution for this problem.

When playing the game, the weather report is for heavy fog and rain but when i go on deck the sky is clear.

The distance at which I can view a ship is about 200 metres (which is about right for heavy fog in game iirc).

Basically, I have no clouds.

Anyone had a similar problem/solution.

Running 1.4 with RUB and SH3 commander (the last versions of both).

Nope sh3 and bad weather go hand in hand all you can do is get the weather mod or sh3 commander and you can alter the weather there to some degree Ive heard.

I've got a weather problem too.. well, actually the lack of weather. I'm running GWX and got the SH3 Weather mod, and selected heavy rain with moderate winds, just to see what the weather effects were like. And I'm on the bridge, sound of rain pelting down.. but skies are cloudy-ish, partly cloudy actually and suns shining.
And no rain. Now I'm running the Weather mod, selecting the desired options, and selecting GENERATE. Then, running SH3Commander to load SH3 with my selected career, my game loads and I select the saved game I want. Now I wonder if this mod only works when your starting a career, and not during a career.

I remember playing stock SH3 a while back, and once my lads had their raincoats on, and I'm sure there was rain, you could see it.

My video card is a Gainward 7800GS 512Mb running 9147 drivers (Nvidia)
