Default Which mods work in GWX

If we have one thread on what might work or not, it'll be easier for everyone to keep track of.

What other mods might work in GWX? How about the cable fix and small mods of that sort? Sorry but I haven't had time to run GWX yet. Holiday shopping says it all.

I think a better question would be... "What other mods change or disable features in GWX?". :p

The cable fix's are included in GWX.

Current boat skins will to be extracted from their dat files and enabled as textures, if you want to keep the cable fix/compass fix etc...

All in all, I think GWX has most, if not all, fix's/patches built into it.

If something has been left out that you want, it's probably due to one of two reasons...
1)File conflicts (i.e LRT & LRG mods)
2)Negative effect on gameplay (i.e Enhanced Sea Floor)

I won't be far off if I say GWX is the most complete mod available. Not withstanding personal choice.

There are a couple of mods that I am missing in GWX that are simple "Map-Mods" for the most part. These mods include things like:

1) A Nanograph similar to the one Wazoo released a long time ago.
2) A Bearing circle overlay for you Map Measuring tool so you can measure bearing and distance at the same time.
3) A Bearing circle transparent overlay for your map.

These are the only small mods that I am missing. Can anyone let me know if it is safe to use these type of mods in GWX, or if it is possible to create these types of mods for GWX?

Thanks for any help.

Nvdrifter, too late to change thread name now, unless a moderator or Neal can and wants to do it. I can't.

Dan, true on GWX beingthe most complete with mods included. Just wanted to find out what mods people have personal preferences for that might work or not, and which ones they are. I know the dev team doesn't have time to look at all some might want to use. Tho when they have time they might look at what's asked about. And I also realise GWX will have ongoing changes from time to time which might include different mods already out. As I said, this is just to keep questions in one place and not spread all over the Mods Workshop.

Hocking, true, the bearing circle overlay for TDC is also one I was thinking about. That's a great help and a must-have I'd think.

Dark TDC and Venatores Blue and Red Filtered Crinkled Map are some I've installed with JSGME.

There are some other mods that are causing CTD 65% of the way through Map Loading screen. I think it maybe my HEADs mod.

I also am conserned about Subskins, they shouldn't have any bad effects will they ?

A friend of mine has installed the Officer A and B mod WAW used, and it's compatable with GWX. As is Officer A and B(1) mod.

The only thing that concerns me about installing different mods is the fact that you may get a mod to work in GWX (such as the bearing overlay mod), but you may not know exactly what you may have messed up in GWX in the process. This is why I am hesitant to just start loading things up. I installed the bearing overlay measurment tool, but quickly uninstalled it after one mission because things just weren't acting right for some reason.
