Limit to number of Locations.cfg entries?
OK, so working with my expansion pack, I notice that adding entries to locations.cfg appears to make Silent Hunter III crash. Does this mean that Silent Hunter III has a maximum amount of entries in locations.cfg, or that I'm doing something wrong?
Edit: Undid all the (I think) changes I had made to locations.cfg, but it still does not work. Growl.

Look at Carotio and his UA mods, I don't think he has much of a problem with too many new locations. But he is having same problem now with GWX UA.
I sure hope you get NorOps working, I am really looking forward to it, your website makes me drool !! This statement is from Carotio's Corner: GW-UA1.15 will not appear! Sorry! I ran into CTD problems in my final tests, and I couldn't work it out! That is: GWX has just been released, and then I thought: "Oh well! Let's start from scratch with a GWX-UA!" So just go to the GWX-UA section! The World Map mod is being included in GWX-UA!

Well, it could be other things, too. I also merged my Land segment (the one with many, many new towns, districts, etc. around Bergen). It might be that. And I added OccupiedNorway to defside.cfg, although that's certainly not it. I sincerely hope it isn't the additions to the LND layer. It'd be sad to add all that just to have to delete it.

There are some issues with Ports\Cities and industry close together
Dont know why it only affects some areas and not others Case in point is Leningrad where someone keeps getting CTD If I remove the port\cities etc no CTD Now its a process of adding them back one by one to see how many can be readded before CTD Nothing is simple in this game S-K Maybe try adding one or two entries to the lnd at a time then firing up game Slow process but at least you will know which one is giving you a problem Feel for you mate really Been there doing that lol |
