Default Sailing to Japan

Is it possible to sail to Japan in this game? I was thinking about trying it at some point but the map doesn't go that far. Or is the GWX going to address that?

GWX will address that as you will have South East Asia and Australian Opperations. In GW you can sail to Japan but you need a big boat (i.e. IXD2) and places to refuell.

i have a question.
if you reach the end of the map in one of the sides, but you keep on going
will you pop up on the other side of the map ?

I haven't try it but I don't think it's possible. I think the two sides of the map are not linked

Either way it makes no difference. The area around Japan and the Pacific is almost empty in GW. In GWX though there is a lot of traffic in this area, especially around Australia.

Neither did I till I tried it

A while ago I made a trip to the US west coast in my IXD2 and found bugger all
So I thought while I am down this way will checkout the Indian ocean - like a mug I sailed all the way across the bottom of S America and past S Africa to the Indian ocean
Again not a lot there so headed off to New Zealand and tried sailing off the map to see what would happen
Appeared back on the left side heading for the US west coast again

Do'H :rotfl:

You most certainly cannot sail to japan as your submarine has no sails on it! :rotfl:
