Grey Wolves install problem
I have done a new install of SH3 all ok. I then patched it to
1.4b -all ran ok. I then downloaded the Grey Wolves zip file (700,289KB) and unzipped it to a fresh folder. I ran the exe file and it appeared to install ok. When I then ran SH3 the Grey Wolves splash screen came up and it began to install, however when the red bar got to just past half way it stopped. An error came up saying: Warning. There is a new (not implimented) page:< page ingame options. I pressed ok and another warning: Warning. menu is not found: oxz1a000008! When I pressed ok it closed to desk top. I have have unzipped again and re-installed all but with the same result. I would be glad of any help. David |

Hello and welcome to SubSim
![]() Did you installed GW on top of SH3 or you used the mod enabler??? From what you're saying it seems that you have some corrupted files. Try to download it from here if it helps http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/TGW/index.html#dl

Thank you for your reply.
It must have been a corrupt file. My first download was from FilePlanet the all in one zip file. My next was from FileFront with 5 separate files. They were all exactly the same length as before but when I installed and ran them all was OK! I now shall investigate all the systems!! David |

I got that error message when I tried to install RuB or something like that to the unpatched version of SHIII. But then again, you have patched your game so it must be a corrupt file.

This is not a GW problem, you'll have to reinstall the 1.4 patch. Ref |

If the problem is in the patch make sure you install the correct one. There are four versions of SH3. One European, One American (both for CD/DVD) and one European one American (both as a download of the net). Hence there are four different patches. Make sure you use the correct one depending on the version of SH3 you have. Also before you patch it up delete or rename the SH3 folder in the My Documents directory.
