Default The "Clean Sweep" Uninstall

I can hardly wait for GWX. I would like to get my hard drive ready for this new sim.

Could any of you computer/windows experts give a detailed blow-by-blow on how to prepare our harddrive for a new install?

Details include please:

1. How to unistall old sim
2. How to clean registry
3. When to defrag (after uninstall?)
4. Order of new install (SH-3, 1.4b, GWX, Must-Have-Mods (Nomograph), SH-3 Commander)???

5. Anything else I forgot?

Just unistall the game through ADD/Remove programs

No need to touch registery

Defrag after unistall

Load SH3
Patch to 1.4b
Load GWX - this will also install JSGME
Load SH3Commander

There will be a GWX specific SH3Commander 2.7

If your machine isn't reporting any registry file problems then do as BBW suggests...leave well alone

Juimbuna is right. Don't screw around with the registery unless you have a problem.
