Default No wonder we lost the war...

The English have already replaced the two Nelsons sunk: here is the new secret Nelson number 3, 4 and 5.

But oh well at least they are back to two again now

(Using GW 1.1, port of Alexandria, Oct 25 -41. Except for the 3 Nelsons BBs, there were five (5!) Dido CLs, 10 DDs, a hospital ship and a few merchants at port that date. Anyone up for some harbour raiding? )

My G-d...I'd love to raid that one with you in multiplayer...too bad I suck at multiplayer! LOL But Mein G-tt! THREE Nelson battleships?! And FIVE Didos?! Man...just think if eight of us raided Alexadria when it was loaded like that...Winston Churchill would be hunting for us personally...

The reception when you got home would be rather good, a medal or two, a nice meal with the brass, a couple of people asking for your autograph and a free sight seeing trip around Germany as well.

Why would you want to go back to sea???

No, no multiplayer, just ordinary career. This was my 18th patrol i think. I didn't think it was possible to see 3 Nelsons at the same time but oh well... perhaps they are always there at that date?

*wide grin* Oh me too...and just think if you did it with all electrics...you'd have the British sitting there scratching their heads going "What the..." and then all of a sudden...KABOOM! And their ship just explodes right out from under them...oh man...I am SOOO going to Alexandria then...

DIE TOMMIES, DIE!

Oh man, I am SO heading to Alexandria. Wow.

Kind of tough shots though. I'm sure the depth is too shallow for magnetic pistols.

Deamyont, Top Intel!

Fortuantly the career I am currently using was within a couple of weeks of when you were there.

What a raid, I managed all 3 Nelsons. The one in the middle was very hard. Just steering my boat into a suitable firing possition was a nightmare. Type IXB not the boat for harbour raids!

Had to refuel on the way home as well, Alexandria is a long way from Lorient.

Brilliant raid, I recomend it to anyone.

PS, habour seabed is too shallow in places to run at periscope depth in a type IX if you want to retain hull integrity!
