There might be new sigs made/released once GWX is open to everyone. I already have mine ready to go  GWX Beta Testers, start saving some images if you want a new sig. I will gladly work on them but they are not to be used before general release.

No. I would think obviously not, since they've recommended several times doing a fresh install first.

Yes, that is true. You have to install GWX on a fresh 1.4b install.
