Explosions and gunfire minimod

Alright, here is an outcome of recent boredom and fooling around with some soundfiles:

Readme-file:

These are a few mixed sound files with cannon fire and explosion for all SH3 playing pyromaniacs out there
who like to see (and hear) things go boom.

Well, I know I'll get killed for "just mixing up a few sounds and calling this a mod" but well, I do not ;-)
I mixed them and now I'm providing them to the public, not my concern what people will do with them.

How this was made:

Well, I tried to make explosions and gunfire in SH3 sound more strong. I dont know if thats very realistic because there is no echoing at the sea due to the lack of Objects reflecting the sound, because the gunfire sounds slowly fade.....

So I took a few sound files that were in the GW Mod and finiteless' Atmospheric Sound Mod and mixed them up a bit.

(Thanks for making them, btw, and I hope you're not going too mad at me for screwing these sounds up without asking for permission, otherwise, please let me know!)

The big explosion (oil explosion):

Took the GW 1.1a sound for the initial "bang" made it louder and mixed in the explosion sound from Das Boot.

The splinter/deck explosion:

Took the GW 1.1a sound and added a boom with the sound of small debris of stuff flying around which was taken from the RWM 6.0 Mod for Sudden Strike.

The Torpedo Impact:

Took finiteless' sound file (which has a really nice initial unterwater-bang at the beginning) and mixed in the famous impact sound from Das Boot.

The Bomb Impact Sound:

From GW 1.1a, with mixed in impact sound from Sudden Strikes RWM Mod.

Cannon Fire:

From GW and finiteless with mixed in firing sounds from Sudden Strikes RWM Mod artillery.

The Shell Impact:

Uhm, forgot where I took that sound from, sorry.

Installation:
You should know that, should you? *fg* Copy and paste into the sound folder of SH3 or use JSGME.

This is my first mod published, give it a try or not, your choice! ;-) and if you like it, feel free to use it for your own.

We always need more sound effects. What I miss the most is the sound of re-loading of guns. When I fire my deck gun, or indeed when any gun is fired, I want to hear a cry of "re-load!" (if they did cry re-load, of course:p) and the sound of the gun being readied for another shot. Likewise with the flak guns, let me hear the magazines being shifted.

PS: You play Sudden Strike? Good man.

thx

I havent played SS for about 2 years (perhaps now i'll do it again ;-) ) but always loved those modded sound files.

With the reloading sound there is a little problem: the gun_muzzle_flash-Sound in my mod has a reloading sound (like many other mods do too). But the K-Gun on destroyers unfortunately use the same sound file as the U-Boat deck gun, so I cant add a shouting crewmember at the end, as he would also shout if a k-gun is fired.

Maybe this is one for the pros
