Default Friendly port / SH3 commander question

Hello all,

Question,
If you dock at another friendly port other than your home port, I know you can refuel, rearm , and battle damage is repaired, you also get a "null" as a new patrol grid. You can't give out medals, quals, etc, and cannot modify your boat or torpedo load out.

With SH3 commander can you change the "null" grid to a regular numbered grid?

If you have a destoryed system ( periscope, etc) is it replaced only in your home port or other friendly ports as well?

Can you request a transfer only in your Home port only?

Thanks in advance

BTW ( playing modified stock, no supermod)

Yes everything in your boat gets fixed once you're docked, but you cannot upgrade it away from your home port.

Yes Transfer requests, medals, promotions etc can be handled only at Home.
