Default In the control room, where is the actual fuel guage?

Most of the engineers reports pop-ups refer to rendered guages in the back wall of the control room. I have been unable to locate the fuel guage though.

Has anyone seen a rendered fuel guage?

I don't think so. My chiefs word is good enough, unless his name is Bernard!

The fuel gagues are there. The only one working correctly is the type 7. Although i think the type II's might acutally work correctly too. The type9' and the type 21 share a similar problem with their fuel gagues. They work... but the floater is black instead of yellow/orange so its hard to see, and they don't scale correctly. IE, if your CE reports say, 1/4 of diesal oil used, your control room fuel gauge will read at 50%. To the best of my knowledge nobody's been able to fix it. If i knew what to do in this reguard id have tried it's one of those pet peeves. I've tried to find the fuel floater texture but ive never been able to find it. I suspect the file to work on is the interior sim file, similar with the other gauge fixes. My problem is i have no idea what byte address to look for, or what values to change.

Where is this fuel guage. I'm a type 7 guy myself and I've bugged my eyes out looking for it. I found the trim floaters between the helmsmen but that isnt the fuel float, is it?

Starboard aft of the control room. Look aft, (say on the aft hatch) click there, and the camera will move to the aft of the control room.
edit:
You can use yoru freecamera to and explore every nook and cranny, (SHIFT + F2)

Kinda. Only the compartments that are modled (CT, RR, CR), and you have to be careful with the free cam when going between compartments. If you get too far out of bounds it doesnt like it.
