New OS stuff
I installed Windows 7, 64 bit yesterday, as well as putting in some more memory, and a new hard disc. |

Congrats on the overhaul! There's a guide for reinstalling SH4 stickied right above your post. In my Windows 7 rig, I created a file on my C drive to install my games. I heard about potential problems about installing in the x86 folder. I've had no probs. As for mods, well that's really up to you. Lately it seems TMO is the big seller. I myself use RFB coupled with RSRD and assorted compatible mods. It's a shame that work on that mod pretty well ceased As far as the 4gig patch goes, it's very easy to install and use, and ended the CTD's in my case. It can also be used for any game, not just SH4. Well worth it! Good Luck!

If you have a separate hard drive install all your games and mods to that hard drive. Completely eliminates any UAC conflicts. aS for the 4gig patch, I don't think you'll need it if you have enough ram.
