Really Need Some Help With A Mission I'm Working On
I'v e been working on a new single patrol mission and am trying to set it up so I can have a sub patrol three different areas over a period of time. This particular mission has to do with the Sea of Japan. I've been trying to figure out the Triggers and Events to do this for the past couple of days but for the life of me cannot figure out how to do it. Any help anyone could supply would most appreciated.

My trigger ability is only fair. To be honest, the best way to grok this is to look at it done right. If you have TM, look at the new construction missions. If you have RSRD, look at lurker's patrols.
Seeing how they do it is worth 1000s of words. tater |

Use map zones my friend. Wherever you want to have your patrols use the hand icon and right click and you can set the map zones. Enter the area radius and set your waypoints to enter the zone. In the trigger menu name it like 'entered message zone'. Choose message in the box and type out what you want the message to say. In another box you'll see a drop down listing. Choose Patrol Area and set the time for 1 minute. Choose how you want to receive your message, either continous or vital. Hope this helps. At least it worked for me.
