Custom HUD Layout
Sorry I missed this question in my download section. Someone asked how to stack the UI windows in the HUD I use. I'll post it again.
overwrite this section below in your default.txt file. You can do the same for your UK and Russian.txt files. Make them read only so they won't get changed by adding other mods. c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override\hu d\ "default.txt file" [HUD LAYOUT] //All positions in screen pixels //From element's default anchored screen corner/position BottomLeftPanelPos=0,0 //Toolbar position 0,0, (1 to anchor to minimap or 0 for no anchor) //Default toolbars overlap and enabled via tabs/keys //ToolbarsPos=0,0,0 //ForceAllToolbarsOn=FALSE //HelmToolbarOffset=0,0 //DiveToolbarOffset=0,0 //SensorToolbarOffset=0,0 //Force all toolbars on in bottom horizontal row ToolbarsPos=0,0,0 ForceAllToolbarsOn=TRUE HelmToolbarOffset=335,-346 DiveToolbarOffset=670,-346 SensorToolbarOffset=335,-270 //Force all toolbars on in right vertical stack, anchored to mini-map //ToolbarsPos=0,0,1 //ForceAllToolbarsOn=TRUE //HelmToolbarOffset=0,0 //DiveToolbarOffset=0,71 //SensorToolbarOffset=0,142

Thanks much sir and it was I requesting it. I bought this game when it first came out and then did nothing with it. Now I can't get enough of it. I think the only thing I miss compared to SH4 is the ability to just do an external view and watch the sub. I'd have things I needed to get done around the house so I'd dive to peri depth and leave it on external. Shot, I'll admit there were times I just enjoyed the view of the boat. I'd like to have the ability to do that and have an actual rocky seafloor.

This could work for me too. I was trying to line up mine along the bottom, but they're the same size as yours on my screen and would cover up the sonar display. Right now I have mine stacked up 3 high along side the tactical screen box.
If you figure out how to resize those three boxes so we can make them fit along the bottom, let me know. Thanks for this..... T |
