Default S.O.S. Wolves of Steel plus SH5 (Steam) help needed

I cannot get Wolves of Steel to work with SH5. Could someone please help? The following complies with the 'how to report an issue' format given.

1) Operating system spec - see attached screenshot.
2) The version of the game is 1.2 (Steam)
3) I can confirm that the version on my laptop is a clean install of v 1.2 (Steam) vanilla version and that it runs without problem.
4) I have no mods loaded.
5) The generic patcher is correctly activated, and the snapshot is successfully restored.
6) See attached screenshots.
7) See attached screenshot.
8) When attempting to install Wolves of Steel, I have followed the installation instructions to the letter. However, when activating it via JSGME, I observed that several of the files clashed, which seemed odd. See attached screenshots. The following observations were noted. 1) I made several attempts at installation. When the installations failed to work, the Wolves of Steel mod was deactivated via JSGME, the MOD folder was cleared and then attempts were made to run the game again. It wouldn't run until I had uninstalled and reinstalled it via Steam. 2) I found no evidence of any Wolves of Steel .exe file. I attempted to install the mod after deactivating my Norton antivirus protection, and I even tried after completely uninstalling Norton. However, I had no success.

Any help would be gratefully received.

With clashing files in JSGME just say YES to continue.

If still it doesn't work i would try this one on a fresh installed 1.2.0 game, it's for U-play users but should also work with Steam versions:

Disregard all the U-play stuff and simply replace the files in your Steam game folder, then install WoS, it should work now, don't start the game from Steam but double-click the SH5.exe to start game. Maybe you must set the compat mode of sh5.exe to Win7 and 'start with admin'.

Hope this helps,
XS

Many thanks for the reply.

I still couldn't get Wolves of Steel to work. I have now spent three days (36 hours +) trying to get the game and the mod to work. Is this a new world record for a Ubisoft game?

Alcohol and coffee are now desperately needed.

Default Still not working

With the mod installed and activated, the game doesn't boot up. Deactivation doesn't help either. If I try to run it after doing so, all I get is an error message. In order to get it to work, I have to uninstall the game and reinstall it via Steam.

I am not sure why you have a picture where you are browsing for the MODS folder.
TWoS has its own Mods folder called TWoS_Parts
