Fired torpedoes shown in upper left screen

Hi all,
This is something I have been wondering about for some time. It happens when in the periscope or uzo view. After firing a torpedo, or multiple torpedoes, they show up in the upper left of the screen. When you click on them they show on the stop watch, the approximate time till they hit. More times than not this quits working for me. You can click on them and try to cycle through them but nothing happens. Is this me or the sim?

Thanks

They put them in an awkward place as the PK/Torpedo setting gauge obscures them for the most part.

I confirm the firing solution on the attack map, note the torpedo run time and just use a "real" stopwatch to time the runs. I have a scribble pad beside the computer for that plus add stuff to the grocery list.

I've found I can click on them (usually) in the observation scope, but not in the attack scope.
