Default Oh man can you imagine the logistic.

Scrolled all the way down to see who was celebrating their birthday and it was only one.

I toke a look at how many captains we are on this forum-181,221.

Then I thought this would be the largest event if all of us should meet in a subsim meeting like the last one in 2009(no we weren't thousands).

Then I came to think of the logistics to run such an event with 181,221 participant oh man can you imagine it ?

Yes However the main question remains-How do we get there ?
And how many spacecraft do we need ?

Most important-It's only for four-But I think the restaurant has room for 182000 people

I had the idea years back to regionalize subsim meets for the USA at least

Subsim South Central for example would be TX, OK, LA, AR

Subsim southeast could be MS, AL, FL, GA, SC

and so on... you could designate a "moderator team" in each region who could be relied upon to ensure that group meet ups represent subsim well and coordinates the meetups annually or semi annually

that makes it easier for members to participate in meets when they just have to travel a relatively short distance.

EDIT: and there would be something regionally located for every region to do

South Central would have the subarine in eastern oklahoma, the ww2 museum in new orleans, the pacific war musum, the carrier, the uss texas etc in texas... the list goes on
