Default Das Boot Herr Kaleun leather jacket

Does anyone know where I could buy a jacket like Herr Kaleun has? The brown one like on the photo https://goo.gl/images/GoLWuM
I believe it's leather. Or maybe a jacket similar to his?

There are a lot of sheepskin leather jackets that look similar to what the Old Man is wearing in the photo.

Depends. U boat clothing can be bought for re-enactment. Original Km gear is rather expensive.

I'm not looking for original gear, just something similar, modern. Of course there are a lot of leather jackets but none looks the same, I have a problem with finding something with that collar. Mostly I find some pilot replicas with woolen collar. And why do I look for something similar? Because I think it looks mighty cool and would want to have one

See here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/AtoZLeathe...op-header-name

The deck jackets are not expensive, but I think that the interior may be nylon, not flannel or a natural fiber.

^ https://www.epicmilitaria.com/german-black-leather-u-boat-jacket.html I'D GET ONE MYSELF (XXL) BUT WOULD LOOK LIKE GOERING BEFORE HIS WEIGHT WATCHER PROGRAM AT NUREMBURG!

They feature two waist flap pockets and two chest slash pockets as well as an inside pocket. They also have a full wool lining (NOT NYLON) and elasticated inner cuffs for extra snugness. They are fastened with a set of matching black Kriegsmarine buttons, featuring the anchor and rope emblem of the WW2 German Naval Forces. The jackets themselves were worn by German U-Boat deck crews throughout WW2

I came across something interesting on 'Wiki' just now while searching... I thought I may as well record it here as anywhere:

"German U-Boat crews were also commonly issued with British Army Denim battledress (with German insignia added). Large stockpiles had been captured by the Germans after the fall of France in 1940"

Well I never knew that...
