Keyboard mapping
I live in Belgium and bought Silent Hunter 5 via Steam. When I get in game the WASD does not work since I use an AZERTY keyboard (where it's ZQSD). Is there anyway to change the keyboard mappings in this game ? I couldnt find it.

You can reinstall and choose Custom and then you can set it to AZERTY

On steam there is no such thing as a custom install, the games installs automatically...

I fixed it, figured out how to manually change the keyboard without installing. Browsed the SH5 directory and saw a keyboard mapping folder with two obvious AZERTY and QWERTY folders. I've just copied and overwrited the original files with the ones in the AZERTY folder and the controls are AZERTY now
The folder in question: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\silent hunter 5\data\LngGameData\KeyboardMapping |

Now to see if I can get the help text (F1) display in English (as I requested) instead of French... Cheers, Benny

Hi guys!
If I understood correctly, I need to use SH Keymapper to assign my own buttons (instead of default ones)? Or there's a way to do this manually inside SH5 files? For example, I want to assign in SH5 new camera movement buttons (arrows) instead of in-game W A S D... |
