MOTHERLAND II MOD
Historical context:
A) Spain: The six Santa Maria-class frigate ships were produced between 1984 to 1993 in the Izar Shipyard, Ferrol (Spain).Ships based on American Oliver Hazard Perry class frigates,were designed primarily as anti-aircraft and anti-submarine warfare guided-missile warships intended to provide open-ocean escort of amphibious warfare ships and merchant ship convoys in moderate threat environments.They could also provide air defense against and anti-ship missiles.These warships are equipped to escort and protect aircraft carrier battle groups,amphibious landing groups,underway replenishment groups,and merchant ship convoys.Currently undergoing modernization in various systems. B) Argentina:Two ships of this guided missile destroyers (type 42) were built in UK (ARA Hercules) and Argentina (ARA Santisima Trinidad) and served with the Argentine Navy.\nThe first ship of the class (ARA Hercules) was ordered in 1970 and launched in 1976.During the War of 1982 was part of the Argentine Landing Force on April 2 and then acted as anti-aircraft escort of the carrier ARA 25 de Mayo.The Argentine Navy used this ship as Aerial Defense Destroyer between 1977 and 1999. The vessels included in this volume are: A) SPAIN: Santa Maria F-81 Victoria F-82 Numancia F-83 Reina Sofia F-84 Navarra F-85 Canarias F-86 B) ARGENTINA: ARA Hercules D-1 ARA Santisima Trinidad D-2 Installation: AS ALWAYS, MAKE A PREVIOUS BACKUP OF ANY FILE THAT WILL BE REPLACED!!!. Replace or add new files to "dot mod"according to their location in the "Motherland II" mod folders.In addition, we've added a modified "Editor.txt"so that you can add it to your own naval combats.It is the only modification made to that file. Was a combat between a flimsy Argentine Squadron and the powerfull Brazilian Empire Fleet.It was a victorious day for the Argentine navy.William Brown was the first Admiral of the newly formed Argentine Navy.Born in Ireland and argentine by adoption.A great patriot. |
