"Healty eating"? WTF?!?!!?

I never eat healthy, only eat fast-food pizza and stuff like this. Healthy Eating means eating things wich taste sucks.

Now they inspect lunch boxes? WTH?!

Healthy Eating. Theres not one more thing in my world wich SUCKS more. Sending kids to shool is like sending them into Concentration Camps.

It makes sense. The cost of ones unhealthy habits goes to the state. If fat people start to take up the real bill for what they eat they can continue killing themself by food.

A boy aged 10 has been banned from his school dining hall because his packed lunch broke the government's healthy eating guidelines.

This is only a guide line it is not law what the hell dose that school think it is doing? Well if that's there attitude they should put on the black uniform and goose step all over the place. The boy has not broken the law come on this is typical PC Madness by the school, what a bunch of clowns they are.

now introduce laws that allow for the rationing of primary health-care to those classified as obese on the grounds that some procedures are less effective and or more risky for over weight members of the population..

introducing the public to the idea of health-care rationing and potentaily saving the NHS a lot of money in the process.. provide the people with a group of the population for whom it is now Politicaly Correct to deny the provision of services...

a Politicaly Correct society needs scape-goats in order to function.. ahem correctly.. you cannot restrict the populations natural instinctive reactions to things without providing them with an outlet for their residual resentments and frustration at being thus manipulated..

so here's the paranoia..
should be perfectly obvious by now that this was pre-planned and manipulated situation in order to create the bed rock for future genitic control of the poulation..

Agreed, but enforcing cost reduction this way is ridiculous.

I works better like this: in Germany, there is one hospital where doctors refuse to do sugery on people with deseases caused by smoking, cancer for the most, if they do not stop smoking once and for all. Additionally, many think about making people paying for any medical treatment caused by smoking - why should the social insurance payers have to pay for the stupidity of the individual? Insurances should cover those cases were the individual is not responsible for a given damage or desease. But if it intentionally chooses to damage itself, why should the general public pay for that? Me personally does not want to pay for someone who first consumes poison, knowing that it is poison, and then getting ill and wanting to get doctor's wages and medication/surgery being payed by me and others. I also reject to pay for people getting themselves a tatoo (or getting it deleted). Help those that run into crisis or problems without it being their responsebility. Beyond that, if it is a consequence of intentional stupidity, make help a voluntary thing, leaving it to close friends and relatives for the main.

concerning food, knowledge is all. It is not by random the obesiety is spread so much amongst poor people and lower social classes. It is not so much about how much you eat, but what you eat. Unfortunately, cheap food is the most unhealthy, I would even say in same cases: most poisenous "food". People without education have good chances never to receive the needed knowledge to differ between healthy and unhealthy food. they simply trust in what commercials are telling them. Not to mention that they often do not have enough money to live by better food, which often is the more expensive one. so does that school have regular lessons on food theory and metabolistic functions? :hmm:

But state-controlling lunch.boxes like in this example is an education to obedience towards governmental auhority, and teaches a certain attitude of mind: that of unquestioned acceptance of institutional authority, and submitting to it and don't question that behavior. In other words: enforcement of PC again. that kid is taught only one thing: to behave in a certain manner. But he probably still does not know, why. He will either turn out to become an offender again, maybe later a full time-rebel, or he will become a streamlined "Duckmäuser" (moral coward) and always doing what the mass is doing.

But to my knowledge they are trying to also educate the students why they are pressing this healthier diet. Obesity is a bigger problem in Britain than in elsewhere in Europe. Apart of the problem lays with this government which has failed this country, groups of people have given up all hope so they eat, smoke, drink themselves to death and take drugs. This government has stolen from us all here in the U.K. and messed up the pension system big time, we will all have to work on pass 70 years of age.

Don;t get me wrong, yes it's freedom of choice but when a government screws things up big time it effects the minds of the people. And what a great idea to deflect all the problems on to us while this government goes on screwing this country up by turning it in to a police state.

Is there an organization like this one in the UK, devoted soley to protecting a persons rights and freedoms?

Governing the diet of a 10 year old goes way beyond normal.

The purpose of schools is to educate, not regulate.

Governing the diet of a 10 year old goes way beyond normal.

The purpose of schools is to educate, not regulate.

They are trying to educate healthy diet to growing children. They arent getting it from home. so they are doing even that for their parents, that are too lazy or ignorant to raise their children at all. This is a big problem here in Europe , only rights and freedoms, no responsibilities.

try chinese cooking. If you only have some ingreidents that are often used ready in the refrigerator of available, then many things in Chinese cooking can be done extremely easily and very quickly. Of course, you can make it complited, too, but there is little need to do so as long as you do not want to impress your date.

Another good choice for easy but tasty cooking is much that can be found in Italian cuisine.

And if everything fails: a medium steak with salt, black pepper and herb butter and nothing else still is one of my favourites
