Default GW and Merchant variety Pack

About a year ago I d/l a "Merchant Variety Pack" by Iambecomelife for the stock SH3 which enabled you to change the merchant ship textures of convoys randomly whenever you wished before a mission.
I have just returned to SH3 and installed the GW supermod version which I have found extremely impressive. I was just wondering whether this "Variety Pack" option or something similar might be usable with the GW version.
Thanks for any info on this.

The variety pack's randomisation feature is antiquated, but the skins are stil useable. It's now possible to have multiple skins for each ship.
There is also a far better tool for now for bringing these skins into the game, by having the later war skins come in at the right times... SH3 Commander. Jscones has actually already included iambecomelife's skins in the combined skin pack addon.

If you don't already have SH3 Comd, get it at Jscone's website, along with the skin pack... http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products.html
