new computer, save games transfer?

Hi,

i just bought a new computer, installed SHIII (off course

) and i copied the SH3 folder over from my old pc to the correct location on the new pc.
In the game, i see my correct academy settings but when i proceed to load my career, i can't find my savegames.
All saves are from during a patrol. Do i need to be in harbour to be able to transfer the savegames or how would it be possible to continue the game?
SHIII is a real pain when it comes to savegames
