Anyone running SH111 using a 256MB PCI Express x16 ATI Radeon X600 SE HyperMemory video card? If so, how does it perform?

Some people play SH3 on even worse cards, so it should be ok. If you think about buying it, don´t.

Heehee. It came with a Dell PC that I got a great deal on, Gizz. I have an ATI AIW 9600 on my other PC which has SH111 on it, and I wondered how the X600 would compare.

If your 9600 is a "Pro" model then I would say that it´s about the same speed as the X600SE. Try it and let me know the results. By the way, I hope your Dell has 1GB, because the X600SE only has 128MB dedicated video RAM, the other 128MB it takes away from the computer RAM.

I had an X600SE 128MB and it worked well on the game maxed out.
My old system: Pentium 4 3.00 GHz 128MB X600SE 2GB DDR400 I had to have an X600SE because I needed something low-profile. I had a tiny Dell at that time, so an X600SE was one of my only real choices. Eventually the X600SE exploded. ![]() My new computer plays the game even better (new computer was originally for Battlefield 2, so it's overkill for SH3): Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 256MB 7800GT 2GB DDR400
