Merchant ship speed
Hi,
I run NYGM V2.0 which I find pretty good in general, but was a little surprised when I gave chase to a tramp steamer plodding along at 7 knots in my IIA to see him go up to 11 knots so I could not catch him. Where did these high speed tramps come from in 1939? |

Pardon me, but 11 knots is not a very high speed. The merchant isn't going fast...it's just you tha one that's going
slow. |

yeah true the u-boats in 39 didnt have brilliant engines, instead they relied on accurate intercept courses.
