Polish soldiers in World War II Video

Sorry for this patriotic stuff, but I need to show you this video that moved me alot.
Polish war efforts in WWII are often forgotten, the ones to thank for this are the soviets and the old polish communist government. By showing you this video I am trying ( ) to repair the damage caused by them. The video(and my post) contains a lot of spelling mistakes, but it is still very nice to watch.

Poland was attacked for Hitler wanted access to Russia later on in the war. But from what I read on the Poland 1939 the Polish army put up a good fight with what they had in the way of equipment. Latter on in the war the poles put up a bloody good fight in the Warsaw uprising in 1944, which at best it was predicted it would only last 3 to 4 days so too last three weeks was one heck of achievement. As for the poles who fought on in the Allied army they fought a hard fight against an enemy that invaded their home land. I have not forgotten that fact Polak, if you want to be patriotic you go for it.

No, although Hitler wanted access to Russia, I think it's quite evident that he had every bit of the same intention to take Poland for Germans, just look at some of the terrible "resettlement" that took place after it was taken.

Poland really got some of the worst of the war, and put up their best against it. I think more credit ought to be given to Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, Ukranians and Belorussians, who easily took the worst of the war - and that area of the war is often very forgotten in Western history. Poles especially, of course, since they were in it from day 1.

Nice historical footage.

The conflict with the Red Army in the 20's is also usually forgotten.

Thank you for the nice words guys.
Yes the conflict from 1920 is often forgotten, the Polish-Soviet war.
It is a funny thing because many Americans and Frenchmen participated in that war.
The Polish 7th Air Escadrille a.k.a the Ko¶ciuszko Squadron was formed in late 1919 from American volunteers, it became the most successful Polish squadron in the war.
Merian Caldwell Cooper(director, writer and producer of the movie king kong) is one of many brave men that fought with Ko¶ciuszko Squadron.

STEED, my family fought in the Warsaw uprising, if you are interested I could scan some private pictures from the Warsaw uprising, I think that I have an old album with me here in Sweden.

Polish soldiers, sailors, airmen, resistance fighters and agents. (Note it was not Bon Jovi that first got hands on an Enigma, it was POLES)

Poles: the first to fight in Europe.

Of course we can't forget the famous 1st Polish Armoured Division which went from guarding the Scottish coast to helping liberate France and the Low Countries. With a little help from the British Cromwell tank.
