Scapa Flow mission

I haven`t been around for a while ,but been playing the game.I have a couple of questions.In the Scapa flow single mission what happened to the nw entrance by way of Kirk sound to the main ankorage.Can`t find it on the map and can`t locate it by sight.Seems pointless to try to get in any otherway.

Also how do I award medals to the crew.I am into the 5th mission with about 49,000 ton sunk and can`t award to many medals.Everytime I can do it,the game only allows about 2 awards,then cuts me off.It turns everybody blue that is able to receive something,but cuts me off after 2 awards.Now the whole crew is ------ at me!
