Default Best truck poll

This poll is right off topic and is about semi's trucks or lorries what ever you call them, now the type is only artics (short for articulated) most being the biggest road going lorries in europe.

To start:

Ivecos Stralis a totaly new front and engine, 13.0 litre turbo charged diesel engine, has 430bhp and 16 gears manual or automatic

Volvo's FH16 range this truck is the most powerfulest road going truck made in the world 660bhp with a 16.8 litre turbo and super charged engines and three types of gear boxes auto matic semi auto and manual.

Scania not overly keen on the scania the splitter is a bit well tempremental and makes life harder to change gears, but all the same its one of the top european trucks and ranks number 2 in the list only taken by volvo!
It has a 15.4 litre turbo charged engine diesel, 620bhp with manual and automatic gear boxes.

Scania comes in two veriatys flat nosed and yankee style.

Volvos are highly reliable and strong safe lorries I have driven the FH16 660hp ive driven a scania high top and the iveco euro cargo (never driven a stralis).

Daf's are just crap and so are ERF's.

Just a foot note:

I am only 18 years old and dont have a HGV licence (got to be 21) but ive driven these lorries because they were solo ie had no trailer and were under 7.5 tonnes making them eligable to be driven on a car licence and as private light goods viachle.

Providing that there is no trailer on the tractor unit the said lorry cannot be classed as a HGV Vieachle and not LGV either as its below 7.5 tonnes (unit or tractor unit wieghts 4 tonne).

Provided i am insured i can drive these viachles legaly on the road as long as i have no trailer.

My dad was a truck driver (although dump trucks) for a long time and he almost always drove a Mac. I think the other drives down in Texas (he worked down there a while) would have laughed at him if he drove around in one of those sissy Euro Trucks.

I was gonna post that one from Duel. That was a cool truck!

Here is one of the coolest trucks I've seen:

Dragon Master is a Kenworth T2000.

He even has a Ford F-150 painted to match.

For more photos, you can go here. Scroll down a little ways. There are some other really cool trucks on that page.

Trucks are better than lorries any day.

Old truck drivers never die...they just get a new Peterbilt.
