Default Where Can I Find "Sailor Steve's Sound Mods"?

As this is my first posting, I would briefly like to thank all of those bright people devoting their time to making a good simulation truly great with their fantastic modifications.

A few weeks ago my system crashed, taking with it a number of SH3 Mods that I had recently downloaded. One of which was a Sound Mod made by Sailor Steve which incorporated the "Das Boot" dialogue. I found it by accident on another website (it does not seem to be available on this one) which I was unfamiliar with. Now, three months later, I cannot remember which website it was.

So, can anyone tell me where I can find Sailor Steve's Sound Mod?

Thanks

Kuckoo

Welcome to Subsim!

You find the mod at http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/ in the audio section.

Many thanks, Gizzmoe

This was indeed where I originally found it. This site appears to be a very useful resource. Mod has been located and downloaded successfully.

Best wishes

Yeah, Terrapin's site is wonderful. Glad you like the mod, but don't forget to take a quick look at the readme to give credit for the real modders. I just turned them into .ogg files; those guys did all the work.

I don't see how to install the ogg files? Where and how?
Thanks, Cal

I didn't think to put them into folders at the time. Copy all the .ogg files as a group, then put them into each of the nine Speech folders one at a time.

Sorry about that, but now that it's on file that way, that is the only way you can do it.

On the other hand, it does leave you free to use the alternate torpedo and depth charge files.
