I want to remove the repair crew options. (How)

I am not very good at the menu editing etc but want to remove all things relating to the repair crew for the sub. In fact I want it removed all together if possible. No visible station in which to place men on the rapair screen

Every compartment does it own repairs except for the crew quarters which can be compensated for.

The damage model can be tweaked to better repair and longer repair times, maybe not hours but by a good few minutes at least.

Can someone show me how to remove the small sub and crew slots etc and possibly place something in its place?
