Sorry to unbury a year-old post, but this list does not include Types IID, VIIC/42, IXD/2 and XXI. The manual has even less info.

Couldn't find a comprehensive list anywhere. Just bits and pieces.

Can anyone add on this?

And also any modifications to the above by some mods (like XXI in RuB becomes available for patrol in 03/45) would be welcome.

If you run SH3Cmdr, look at the Help html file - it includes a table for the 1st, 2nd and 7th Flotillas (if you are using the correct u-boat availability dates).

Have you checked out http://www.communitymanuals.com/shii...areer_Timeline ?? You may need to do a bit of cross referencing, but everything you want should be on that one page.
