I would like to rework the SSN missions to work in DW, I will attempt to follow Clancy's book as much as possible.
I would actually like to build a campaign but have not figured out how to do it. If any body has any knowledge about building campaigns and would care to share it I would be most interested. I wrote to Subgroup and the SSN site but have not heard anything yet. I do not want to infringe anyone else's work. Thank you, Ron Banks MMCM(SS), USN(Ret) |

Campaing is same as standalone missions, except if you have one concrete boat (lets say Akula Vepr') in missions 1 and 2, the boat will not be available in mission 2 if it was destroyed in mission 1. So you can design several battles of the same groups, each battle covered in special mission.
Usualy you have to use dynamic locations and little of scripts to react somehow on missing platforms. |

Also, note that by default, missions require "ownship" to survive. This is something that is rarely disabled, but it may make sense to do so in a campaign setting. The "key player" options, as well as a few other campaign-specific features, is only available if you've designated the mission as a campaign mission when you created it. And you use the "campaign editor" (a small part of the mission editor menus) to string the missions together into a campaign.
