I thought I'd be a nice guy and bring up an important matter here, with the hope that it is picked up by the Ubisoft team.
The problem is that it appears like more and more games are forgetting the deaf/otherwise physically handicapped players. The subtitle-free video tutorials for Silent Hunter III is just one of many, many examples, and only one game, Force Commander, has had 100% in-game subtitle support - that is, subtitles for everything that is said in-game, even unit responses (let's not bring up that I seem to recall that it did not have subtitles during cutscenes, though). Another thing missing in SH3 was the ability to give orders during pause mode. I realize that this sacrifices challenge and realism, but as a player wrote on the Empire Earth Heaven forums [link to thread], Quote:
S-K (Not deaf or handicapped, by the way :P ) PS: Pardon the rushed post, I had to get to class before I was really finished with it ![]()
