Default The Perils Of Plankton a/k/a DW Manual

Despite my wifes guffaws , protestations , and shaking of her head accompanied with sighs of general disbelief ... :P

I have successfully completed the printout of the DW manual and placed it in a spiral binder. Each each chapter seperated with a divider for easy location. I bought pre punched paper and quite a bit of ink ( )

Upon showing her the completed book she smirked and said
"Hello ?? Mcfly !!! you do realize that you just made this huge book FOR A GAME right ?" ( the ohmygodwhatamigonnadowithhim look )

"bbbbbut its really a navy systems simulator honey erm uh hmmm
i cant even enjoy it if i dont use my brain a bit so i gotta have this to read and have handy cuz im clueless.."

(pregnant pause )

(laughter)

i would have happily dropped another $25 to buy the dang thing at store with game.

wait til she finds out about the manual errata , the other manual errata , more manual errata , the mission editor and all the various and sundry DW related erroneous effervescent errata and/or effluvium that i still have left to print out .... :rotfl:

cheers

They sell the manual to it. Probably for less than it cost you to print it out, let alone spiral bind it!

PS. More hands are needed with the shovel - there is a 'big job' to be done in Bilges. A 'motion' was passed
at a recent Captains meeting that all spare hands should be mobilised to reduce the crap mountain it must be
cleared, nay wiped, asap or the yellow sub will become a distinct shade of brown.

ahh ya see my tightness resulted in the need for immediate gratification in terms having the manual in my hands or feeling like i had wasted the 40. ( all dressed up .. no place to go )

i can at detect classify and demon thingy sonar contacts now in a russian kilo. still struggling at tma but ive really increased the speed of progress now that ive printed.

have determined its best (for me ) to really focus on learning how to drive one ship at a time. theres just too much variation in the systems and weapons to effectively absorb it all simultaneously. with that in mind im sticking with the Russian Kilo a bit. the diesel electric gives me a familiar feeling and even the wife was awestruck watching a successful Starfish attack on an enemy sub :|\ (*buk !*)
