RuB - because its only on improving realism and not about graphics. Makes way more sense to me because its not dependent on PC performance

Who would prefer a new mod?...
One that combined RUb's realism with spectacular visuals?

What's priority for me is realism and RUb offers it.
The remaining sound & light show is also appreciated but there are so many mods out there that I prefer to pick the ones I find best and only the ones I want. I have my game perfectly customized to my liking, mods installed neatly with the JSGME utility and the ability to mix and match improvements any way and any time I want, without waiting for a major mod's update or patch. |

A combined realism/graphical tweak mod is the UuB I was referring, Marhkimov...however the age-old problem is 'which graphics mods to include' - everyone has their faves after all!

True, true... This has always been the 'age old' problem with larger mods...
Everyone has their own tastes.

At the same time though, it would be nice to just install one giant mod that has all the realism of RUB and the best picked visuals. Even more so for new guys like me who don't know what all is out there. Or even what each thing does. :hmm:

IuB1.2 has Rub 1.44 already merged along with all the nice graphics I dunno what you guys are talking about. RuB 1.44 and 1.45 aren't really that different are they?

Since the RUB 1.44 is not that far from 1.45, and the IUB 1.02 "incorporates all the features of the RUB mod, thought makes some small changes for playability."
Is there anything else different between IUB (RUB settings) and THE RUB than these mentioned(?): -deck reload time <--- can be tweaked via SHCommander -fatique <--- can be tweaked via SHCommander -crew AA range <---- I don't fight stay and fight with AC's... -U-Boat marker <---- never use external cameras anyway -map contacts <----- edit contacts.cfg (?) If these are all that is different, then the IUB is clearly better choice if your rig can manage all the eye candy. Don't get me wrong, I love RUB mods, but I also like to see some craphical improvements. Without RUB I wouldn't use IUB. So, what are the real differences there? Anyone? :hmm: Edit: Or, what is it IN IUB that makes it not worth of using instead of RUB?
