Default Saved game crashes-PLEASE HELP

Ok, never had this problem before (well only occasionally) but get it consistently since starting a career in a type IX from Lorient. (Well 2, the old one crashed a couple of times and I had to redo patrols but I lost this career and another when I erased my SH3 folder like a dummy once, story for another time)

I use RuB 1.44, HT 1.46, and SH3 Commander 2.3....plus the hospital ship and the fleet escort mod some camo (the HF carriers), crew cheers and the snorkel fix and that’s it. (That’s enough )

I always had just two saves, (should be more I suppose?) one save game than right after save and exit. Is that the problem ? :hmm: I start from the save game not the last one. I have no idea how to solve it but this is annoying as I lose some stuff like the T3 I sunk last patrol.

What can I do to solve it? I have no idea where to start….any error files I can look at? Is it linked to grid (I never patrolled down by the Canaries, all the crashes were there). Any way to save the current patrol? I always save at a quiet moment on the surface and from the command room.

Please help.
