This happened awhile back and I thought it was a glitch but now two missions in a row.
Last mission: April 1942 Type VIIC returning to Brest. Attacked an EB convoy and scored a number of hits before being pounced on by escorts. One Tanker was heavily damaged, low in the water in heavy seas. Last seen before crash dive wallowing around- I figure guaranteed tonnage. After hours spent evading the escorts I was able to surface and proceeded to chase the convoy at high speed. The next day I came across that same tanker still low in the water, following the convoy at very slow speed. Since the seas were greatly reduced I decided to finish off the straggler with the deck gun. About an hour later the ship finally went down. No exclamation from crew/no icon on map showing sunk ship/no record in the log. Current mission: Late may 1942 Grid BF13 entrance to Irish Sea Attacked a convoy heading ENE. Confirmed one C2 sunk. Scored one hit on a Liberty ship which immediately came to a stop and settled at the bow. Escorts started heading in my direction so we dove to about 60m/silent speed/1 kt. I positioned my boat very close to the Liberty thinking the escorts would not dc me so close-I was right. After about 2 hours the Liberty sank. (Viewed with F12 key almost on top of my boat) Once again no exclamation or acknowledgement from crew/no map icon/no record in log. Two times in two missions is a bit much. Anyone have any ideas on this? patch 1.4 SH3 Commander RUB 1.44 HT 1.46 Improved Convoy Mod + a host of eye candy mods.
