Default wow, I finally bagged my first Nelson

Ive been at this game since release, i havent seen an oceanliner and I hadnt seen a capital ship until tonight. I lucked up on a task force as I was leaving my patrol area for what I hoped was more fruitful hunting. Along the way my look outs see smoke...what do you know, an unreported Task Force.
I haul ass at flabk to gain a firing positio, I settling for a 2.5km shot based on my calculations of his track(I play at 100% realsim), and what do you...I miss calculated, I end up at periscope depth just over 1000m from his track. The lead DD detects me and heads my way pinging, the Taskforces slowly begins to take evasive manuvers. I stand my ground to determine my firing solution, let the first Nelson pass and I send 2 torpedos at the 2nd Nelson. The first fish to the stacks, the 2nd fish to the rear main gun. I then re-calculate the solution for a 3rd fish I plan to send for the forward 1/3 of the battleship. Once the 3rd fish is away I crash dive with a DD charging at me with a bone in its teeth. As i pass through the depths 2 impacts ring out...but no third. The DD keeps me down for about an hour, during my evasive manuvers, cat and mouse at 150m I notice there is an unknown contact that stayed behind the taskforce...hmmm, could it be a lame ship? The DD eventually tears ass back to the Taskforce, I come to periscope depth and there she is, a Nelson dead in the water from 2 fish. She is sitting about 5m low in the water and listing to port.
I sent one more to the rear main gun again and one last one to the forward main gun. She sits there for a few minutes and then begins rolling over to port, goes upside down and slips quickly beneath the waves.
I was pleasantly surprised to see only 2 fish bring the battleship to a screeching halt, though she held up well even after 4 impacts...I had expected more secondary damage and explosions from the main gun ammo magazines...but oh well.
