Default Menu Bar question..

What do I need to change to make the bottom menu bar slide in and out with the mouse cursor the way the side menu bar does?

Numpad Delete makes it tottaly dissapear..thats not what I meant.

I want it to stay just to be able to slide in and out like the side one does.Like it does withthe FrontFlottille 2.1 mod.

It can be done...like I stated it was done in the FrontFlottille 2.0/2.1 mod as I have used it before.

Not sure what this says but this is from the site

"Sliding Menu (THX Atze/Mahs).

Here's what http://babelfish.altavista.com/ says:
Sliding menu (THX Atze/Mahs). The Slidingmenu provides for an large/unimpaired field of vision during the play. If the boat expensive elements are needed, these appear prompt if one with the mouse to the lower edge of screen drive. Additionally the Modteam with the Slidingmenu supplies other instruments. Hi!

Must say that the slidein&out MenuBar is the best for the game....

I am not using FF, but i am using a part of their slidein&out Menubar Mod.... and also slideout for Stopwatch at UZO&Peri....

I did it a little bit different....

I am using my TransparentMenubar Mod. And i added the slideout part into the menu1024_768.ini....

So ihave now still the 3 most important Dials from the Menubar, the 3 dials right down corner, which are still visible (transparent version) and only the message and officer icons fields are sliding in and out!

Because this slideout&in effect gives you much more visible freedom and a much more intensive viewing point in the game.....

In screens:

Only the 3 most important Dials are still in sight (transparentDialsMod), look here:

And when i am moving to the bottom of the Screen, then and only then are the other to Fields (Officer bar & Messagefield) sliding up:

That`s all....

In the FF mod (Frontflottile 2.xxx) u have the complete Menubar at the bottom with the slide effect..... i don`t like that... so i did my own slidemod from their great work before....

Greetings Sale

Tell us FLB sale U-999, how do we modify the menu1024_768.ini so that we may enjoy the much more visible freedom and a much more intensive viewing point in the game.

Thank you in advance

Alright.... nice that u like it!

One Problem:

It is a little bit complicated to build this in.....

I am sure that the most people have still the original Black Background at the Menubar.... so u have to add/change more values in your menu_1024_768.ini.....

Ok, i will try to figure out which values to change/add.

For the first i will put my complete Mod with the Transparency and a little bit more....it is like i am using it now in the game!

U can download a small package and use it with the ModEnabler...

Included in the Package:

-Modded menu_1024_768.ini with following values=

1. Sliding in/out Menubar like postet here before
2. Sldiing in/out FABC Dials for Fuel, Batterys, CO², Air (original Mod
of FABC)
3. Sliding in/out Stopwatch/clock in UZO&Periscope views (the clock
is slidet up, when u go with mouse over it, it will slide down)
4. Set the RecManual a little bit more to left side, because it is too
much outside in the Original game
5. No Crosshair anymore in the Binoculars view, it is more realistic
without the crosshair
6. Hidden Menu Bar at the left upper corner of the screen (original
by timetraveller i think)
7. The value for the Navimap background for my transparency Mod,
because it was hard to read the Text without the Black
background with transparency Mod, in the Navimap, because of
the blank field at the bottom of NaviMap

Also included TGAs in the package:

-the modded TGAs for transparency Mod
-the TGA for FBAC SlideoutDials Mod
-the TGA for the NaviMap bottom
-the Dials.cfg for using the 400m depth Mod (because the Menubar Dials have the 400m Dial for Depth and the FABC Slideout Dialsmod
-the better dials for the the MenubarDials like: Depth, Speed, Course etc.
-the TGAs for my UZO&Periscope Mod, where u have only a black cleaned UZO and Periscope Views (! U do not have to use it! if u don`t like it, so don`t activate it!)
-the darker Noticeblock for UZO and Peri

I think thats all.
It is a small package with the most important things inside... just unpack and copy all to your MODS directory and activate it with the MODENABLER.

Try it, if u like it....

I will try to find one time more the right values for that SlideoutMenubar Mod.... it needs time, because i did it a long time ago and it needs time to work again inside the menu_1024_768.ini.

To see some Mods inside the Package, here some Screenshots:

Transparency Mod with slidoutMenubarMod is postet up with screenshots....

Here some Screens of little Mods included inside the package:

Download the package here:
http://rapidshare.de/files/4042183/MODS.zip.html

Just unzip/unpack and move like it is, all in the MODS directory....
then just activate it with the ME to test it.... if u don`t like it, just delete all....
