how do i stick an image on profile?

ive read the Faq and it states i can't just link an image from my HD to paste on my profile, i first need to put the image onto a server? Well what happens it you aint got a internet server, i dont think my internet provider allows this.

is there a free server where you go to store your image for this site?

imageshack.com is usually a relatively good site.
Quick registration (very quick), easy upload, fair hotlinks and all. S'good.

otherwise, send a file, i will put it on my webserver and send back a link ....

thinkink of putting a ftp server online for the community ( get a 50GB bandwith server mostly unused )

When you say get a ftp server online, sounds good but are they free to run?

Another stupid question. I went to imageshack, but where do i go from there, i went to image hosting but all i get is a bunch of links about other stuff? dont even know where to register, theres no link

sorry, yes, this server is hosting a french phpbb forums .....

Anyway, i don't mind sharing some space and bandwith for ftp accounts with a limited space quota (like 10 to up Mbs, dependings).

Using a IE browser or FTP client to get connected to it is possible ....

Unfortunatly, my hosting company is running in tech troubles today ...(www.mhost.com)
