SHCE SS Finback Attack in South Japan

My crew of the Balao class sub, Finback, were amazing. Over 2 hours and 18 minutes we fired 23 torpedoes, and sank 8 ships. The first 5 we ran submerged with very little moonlight.

Afterwards we surfaced and got the last 3 using our PPI radar to jink between the escorts, which couldn't see our submarine in the darkness. We got the last 3 within 12 minutes of surfacing; racing at mostly flank speed. After sinking the last ship, we used our radar again to evade and escape. We returned home with one torpedo remaining. Unlike Richard O'Kane, and Mush Morton, I like to keep one torpedo for defense on our homebound trip.
