Hectic week, so much still to do. Thinking about presents, getting gift paper and packing tape, planning recipes for the holidays. The kids are excited and hoping for their wishes to come true - while trying not to let it show. Mom is spinning her wheels, Dad is happy to escape to work in the morning.

But today once again a lingering, a pause, a coming to reflection, a deep breath! Where is it written that Advent was meant to be a time of collective nervous breakdowns...? Three candles. And just sit and shut up. It's good for you!
