I haven't played SH4 in ages and decided to fire the game up. Did the initial start with no issues and installed the Dark Waters mod. When I go to fire up the game now I get a runtime error and it locks up. Is there a work around for this?

I'm running with Win 10 Installed RAM 32GB I ran the 4GB Memory Tool 1.5, which I believe is Uboat Missions I'm not sure what you mean about the JSGME though? It's version 2.6.0.157 and I installed it in the SH4 root folder. On a side not I tried running compatability with Win 7 and 8 and as the administrator and none of those got it to run. |

The Steam install puts the DirectX v9.0c and Codecs in when you install SH4. But did the bone-stock game run OK? Did you empty the Save folder after activating the mod? Did you make certain that the "Read-only" attribute was "off" on the SH4.exe file, so that it is write-enabled and can take the 4Gig Patch or LAA? Run Time Errors can also be caused by something else overwriting the C++ dll the game installed. I do not remember which version is used by SH4, but if something deleted or overwrote the dll, that can do the problem. If you used the Steam function to verify the game files, it took most of Dark Waters back out on you...
