issue on single mission loading

is there a way to edit a single mission so it doesn't get affected by the campaign which causes the single mission to have a very long loading time?

I observed that the naval academy mode file has the same structure as the single mission file but here is another additional file, namely media.cfg, does this make naval academy mode have a short loading time and can you apply it to a single mission file?
