SH5 via Steam

I just helped a friend install SH5 via Steam. The only issue we had was that Steam SH5 will install the old version of Uplay. We needed to remove it (via windows add/remove) and then reinstall the latest version of Uplay connect. https://ubisoftconnect.com

He had to register with Ubisoft, and was then finally able to enter his Steam purchase key-PITA . He definitely would have returned it without help. I wonder how many other potential customers are turned away.

Once SH5 was up and running, we set the game, Steam and UbiConnect to run offline.

Then we installed :Wolves of Steel v2.2 - ready for download (Steam v1.2.0 compatible) without a problem by following the installation directions carefully. He agreed SH5 + TWoS mod was definitely worth the hassle.

Thanks for the help, I will give it a whirl but may need some additional help so I hope you all will still review this thread over the next few days so I can get SH5 installed and working as I really would like to start playing it. Thanks again.
